A first on film for director Teeeezy C, it also represents the first collaboration between the aforementioned and DP Henry Gill. The duo have gone on to form a strong chemistry, building on this visual. Shot in Crawlands Estate in East London, it’s regarded as one of the most deprived areas in the country and sets the scene perfectly for an organic representation of local French The Kid. Commissioner Obi Obirota was keen on ensuring the visual had a very East-London feel, and the visual includes a cafe that viewers of Top Boy will be very familiar with.
